Mythological History:

In Sanatan Dharma, great importance is given to Nav Durga, one of which is the form of Kalkaji, who is present here in the form of Kalkaji Mata Kali on the mountain of Suryakut in the Aravalli mountain range. This temple of Kaalji is famous all over the country by the name of Kalkaji. This temple of Kalkaji is one of the oldest temples. This temple of Kalkaji mainly has 12 gates which remind us of the 12 monthsIn this temple of Mata, each one has depicted a different form of MataIt is believed that an eclipse never occurs in this temple of Mata. There is a belief that they are opposite to the mother, which is why the doors of all the temples remain closed during the eclipse, but this is the only such temple. This temple remains open even during the eclipse. That is why devotees from all over the world keep coming here throughout the year to get the darshan of Mata Kalkaji and her blessings.

With the blessings of Mother Goddess, all the troubles of the devotees go away and the call for happiness and prosperity always remains in the house. The maximum crowd of devotees remains during the month of Navratri. Because devotees get some happiness by seeing all the Nav Durga in this month. And by doing Aarti and worshiping Goddess Kalkaji every day, all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled. And this temple of Mata Kalkaji is also known as the temple of wishes. According to mythology, once the demons were torturing the gods. So when the other gods were defeated by the demons, all the gods together started worshiping Lord Shiva. And then Lord Shiva became pleased with the gods and appeared before them and asked what boon do you all the gods want? Then all the gods told him about those demons and asked him to free us from these demons. Then Lord Shiva said to Mother Parvati and then Mother Parvati revealed Kaushaka Devi, then Kaushika Devi defeated all the demons. But the Raktabeej salt from the hands of Mother Kaushika could not destroy the demon, then Mother Parvati revealed Mother Kali through her eyebrows, then Mother Kali killed RakbeejAnd seeing this form of Mother Kali, all the gods got frightened. This form of Mother Kali later resides inside the temple of Kalkaji in the form of Kalkaji.
